PLASTIC IS POISON DEMAND AN ALTERNATIVE
We’ve been sold a lie that plastic is disposable. Plastic does not biodegrade, instead it breaks down into increasingly small pieces, ingested by wildlife, and never truly disappears.
The idea of using such a durable material for a single-use drinking straw, an item used for a couple of minutes, is senseless. Our plastic habit, driven by convenience and profitability, is out of control and our seas, our wildlife and our health is paying the price.
