PLASTIC STRAWS - THE SILENT KILLER

Plastic straw waste is one of the most easily preventable kinds of plastic waste. Straws end up in landfill or find their way to the ocean eaten by fish that in turn we eat. Plastic is in our food chain and directly affecting our health – leaving us with a ticking timebomb of potentially serious health issues.

It’s time we stopped sucking plastic.

PLASTIC IS POISON DEMAND AN ALTERNATIVE

We’ve been sold a lie that plastic is disposable. Plastic does not biodegrade, instead it breaks down into increasingly small pieces, ingested by wildlife, and never truly disappears.

The idea of using such a durable material for a single-use drinking straw, an item used for a couple of minutes, is senseless. Our plastic habit, driven by convenience and profitability, is out of control and our seas, our wildlife and our health is paying the price.
